VRW Residential

Earthworks that transform your property.

Rural Property Services.

  • For horse arena construction in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs, VRW Civil builds indoor and outdoor horse arenas, using specialised laser grading equipment. We also assess and rebuild existing arenas, and complete supporting equestrian facilities as needed. Including tracks, laneways, stable surrounds, round yards and concrete wash bays.

VRW Civil founder Grant Tivendale owns an equestrian property, bringing a first hand understanding of the importance of constructing practical, durable facilities that can be used safely.

  • We construct crushed rock and gravel driveways and paths, including farm laneways and access tracks. With experience across earthworks and drainage, we assess water movement and build the base properly so the surface stays firm and performs as it should. The finish is neat and well levelled, designed to suit the home and the way the property is used.

We also construct concrete driveways, crossovers and paths, with careful preparation to support long term durability.

  • We do detailed earthworks for residential properties, preparing the land for what’s planned next, whether that’s a new shed, house pad, tank pad, driveway, arena or dam. The work can include site preparation and clearing, careful cut and fill, land levelling and reshaping, with soil removal or import and rock excavation where required.

  • We build timber and concrete retaining walls to manage level changes and turn sloping areas into usable space around the home and property.

We can help bring your backyard plans to life by reshaping and levelling the land, preparing it properly for planting, turf and landscaped areas.

  • We install and upgrade drainage for rural properties, focusing on the areas that cause the most frustration around a home: driveways and laneways, yards, paddock edges, and anywhere water pools after rain.

The work can include stormwater drainage, agriculture drainage, and surface solutions like swale drains and spoon drains, along with culverts and channels where water needs to pass under access-ways.

At VRW Civil, we treat every project with the same care and attention to detail we bring to our own property.
